Countdown to Kindergarten

Will your child be going to kindergarten soon? Do you worry about the transition to kindergarten? Does your family have questions about signing up or getting ready for kindergarten? Find resources to help with this transition, including Countdown to Kindergarten Calendars and more!

Ages & Stages Developmental Screening Hub

Metro United Way's Developmental Screening Hub is a free program for children 2 months to 5 ½ years of age. Parents and caregivers complete a developmental screening called the Ages & Stages Questionnaire®, and if a parent has questions about their child’s development, or the screening identifies a child who needs a little encouragement, trained coordinators connect families to services that can help. Plus the child receives a free book with each questionnaire completed!
