Additional Kindergarten Options in Louisville
Louisville families have access to many public, parochial, and private school options. The following list represents a handful of the choices available outside of our local public school district - Jefferson County Public Schools.
Parochial Schools – Archdiocese of Louisville
The Archdiocese of Louisville operates over 40 tuition-based elementary schools in the community. To learn more, families need to contact each school. The process for enrolling does involve an application.
The Catholic Education Foundation accepts applications for tuition assistance during October and November. Families must pay a $35 fee when applying for assistance. If you have questions about financial assistance, please contact FACTS parent help line at (866) 315-9262.
Private Schools
There are also many private school options in the Louisville area. Their tuition rates and financial assistance options vary from school to school. The timeline for registration and application is often similar to Jefferson County Public Schools. Examples of private schools include, but are not limited to, the following:
